At some point, you may need to reset your PayPal account password for various reasons. Maybe you forgot your password, or you suspect someone else has accessed your account without your authorization. Whatever the reason, resetting your PayPal account password is a straightforward process that you can complete in a matter of minutes.
To start the process of resetting your PayPal account password, you'll first need to go to the PayPal login page. Once you're there, click the "Having trouble logging in?" link just below the login form.
On the next page, you'll be asked why you're having trouble logging in. Select the "I don't know my password" option and click "Next."
On the next page, enter the email address associated with your PayPal account and click "Next."
PayPal gives you two options for resetting your password: via email or via text message. Select the method you prefer and click "Next."
Regardless of the reset method you choose, you'll need to verify your identity to proceed. PayPal will send you a code that you'll need to enter on the next screen. Enter the code and click "Next."
Congratulations! You've successfully reset your PayPal.com Login account password.
